In the United States we are unique because we are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.

What does that mean?

It means that you have a right to a trial before you should be treated like a criminal.

Unfortunately though, it seems that some want you and I to be Guilty Until Proven Innocent.

I am talking about Governor Walker’s recent comments stating that he wants "DNA on arrest" passed in the next Wisconsin budget.Click here to read the story.

Oh sure, he says that if you are proven innocent then you can ask to have your DNA removed from the file, but with government involved I am sure you can figure out how well that will work.

A bill requiring DNA collection failed to pass in this last session which is fantastic; but now we need to deal with Governor Walker trying to stuff it in the next budget bill.

Why is the Governor doing this?  Is he being ill-advised?  Is he not thinking this through, or does he believe in Guilty Until Proven Innocent?

At this point I am unsure of the answer but we MUST let the Governor know where we stand.

I need you to call (608-266-1212) and email (govgeneral@wisconsin.gov) Governor Walker to tell him you will not stand for being considered Guilty Until Proven Innocent. Tell him he MUST publicly retract his statement in support of "DNA on Arrest."

I hope that this is just a slip up on the Governor’s part because I cannot believe that at this crucial time during his recall, he would support something like this.

Governor Walker talks a lot about standing with him but will he stand with you being innocent until proven guilty or will he continue to push for Guilty Until Proven Innocent?

Please, will you call (608-266-1212) and email (govgeneral@wisconsin.gov) Governor Walker right now?  Will you tell him that in America you are not Guilty Until Proven Innocent? Will you demand that he publicly retract his support of "DNA on Arrest?"

I am making my call and sending my email right now and I hope you will do the same.

P.S. I hope this is a gaffe on Scott Walker’s part, but we must make sure that his statement of support for "DNA on Arrest" is publicly retracted. I need you to call (608-266-1212) and email (govgeneral@wisconsin.gov) Governor Walker to tell him you will not stand for being considered Guilty Until Proven Innocent.  Tell him he MUST publicly retract his statement in support of "DNA on Arrest".

Senator Dale Schultz seems to be doing everything he can to hurt Wisconsin!

The last time I emailed you about Senator Schultz, he was blocking the Raw Milk bill. This obstruction could put an Amish farmer behind bars for up to three years.

Now Senator Schultz has done his best to keep jobs out of Wisconsin!

I am referring to the mining bill that would have created hundreds of jobs and brought billions of dollars to Wisconsin.

This past Wednesday "Republican" Senator Dale Schultz voted with the Democrats to ensure that mining jobs and money stayed out of Wisconsin.

Mining bills AB426 / AB488 would have fast-tracked the permitting process for an iron ore mine in northern Wisconsin.

But rather than see these mines, jobs, and income come to Wisconsin, Senator Schultz chose to kill it in the Senate. He wanted more regulation and higher taxes before he would vote for the mining bills.

Now the company that was going to build the mines is packing it up and leaving Wisconsin, taking the jobs and money with them.

Give Senator Schultz a call at 608-266-0703 and email him atSen.Schultz@legis.wisconsin.gov. Tell him what you think of him pushing jobs out of Wisconsin.  Tell him that you will remember this betrayal.

Blocking the Raw Milk bill confirms that Senator Dale Schultz is anti-freedom. Now he has shown that he is anti-jobs and anti-business as well.

Call Senator Schultz at 608-266-0703 and email him atSen.Schultz@legis.wisconsin.gov right now and let him know what you think about his anti-Wisconsin agenda.

P.S. How much more damage will Senator Dale Schultz do in Wisconsin?  Call 608-266-0703 and emailSen.Schultz@legis.wisconsin.gov and tell him to knock it off.

I have been informed that Senator Schultz office is telling everyone who calls that I am telling you lies and mistruths about SB108 the Raw Milk bill.

Please, do not buy what they are selling.  Here are the lies they are telling and the truth about them.

Lie 1. This bill is not and has not been in Senator Schultz committee since May.

Take a look at this link and you can see that SB108 is in fact sitting in his committee, it has been sitting in the committee since May.

Yes, Senator Schultz did not take over the committee until August, but that does not negate the fact that it has been six long months with zero action from Senator Schultz.

Lie 2.  Senator Schultz supports Raw Milk

Yes, Senator Schultz did vote in favor of the raw milk bill when Governor Doyle was in office.

But, if Senator Schultz supports raw milk why has he not co-sponsored a bill (SB108) to legalize raw milk that has been available for co-sponsorship since last May?  Why has he sat on this bill for six long months, since August, when he took over the AG committee?  Why has he not scheduled any public hearings so that the people can express their thoughts on raw milk?  Why has he not brought this bill up for a vote in his committee that he controls and has the power to do so?

Could Senator Schultz perhaps had voted for the Raw Milk bill previously knowing that Governor Doyle would veto it?

Something to think about.

Lie 3. This bill can not pass

A bill very similar to this passed in a much less friendly climate under Jim Doyle, yet Senator Schultz expects us to believe that this bill can not pass when both chambers and the governors seat is controlled by Republicans?

I'm not buying it.

Lie 4. This bill is being redrafted and will then come up for a vote.

Yes, there is a rumored proposal that an amendment to this bill is being written by the powerful Wisconsin Dairy Association.

The Wisconsin Dairy Association is one of the lead opponents to the legalization of Raw Milk, they want to do everything they can to keep Raw Milk under wraps.

Does that sound like an amendment that we want to wait around for?  Does that sound like an amendment favorable to small raw milk producers and freedom?

Not to me.

So who is telling the lies here?

Senator Grothman wants this bill passed.  Unlike Senator Schultz I do not want to wait for a bill with more regulations and less freedom, this bill is perfectly fine.

The fact of the matter is is that Schultz has been sitting on this bill for six months and even though he voted for it last time under Doyle he has not even signed on as a co-sponsor this time.

Call and email Senator Schultz again and tell him that your not buying his side of the truth, 608-266-0703Sen.Schultz@legis.wisconsin.gov.

Ask him again why he is standing against the freedom of Wisconsinites.  Demand that he bring S.B. 108, the Raw Milk bill, up for a vote immediately and move it out of his committee.  Tell him to stop with the redirects.

Dear Todd,

As you already know the fight for the legalization of Raw Milk is heating up in Wisconsin.  Farmers are being criminalized and our freedoms are being taken away.

Even if you do not drink raw milk, this fight should be very important to you.

If they can criminalize milk then they can criminalize other natural foods that they deem a threat to the establishment.

How long until they regulate your local farmers market?

You and I need to stand up and stop this nonsense right now!

Right now Senator Dale Schultz is stopping the legalization of Raw Milk.  Senate Bill 108 has been stuck in his committee on Agriculture, Forestry, and Higher Education since May 26th 2011.

Why will Senator Dale Schultz not bring S.B. 108 up for a vote?  Why will he not give the people of Wisconsin the freedom to choose what they drink?

Because of Senator Dale Schultz’ inaction, Amish raw milk farmer Vernon Hershberger faces maximum penalties of $13,000 in fines or 2 1/2 years in jail.

Does that sound like freedom to you?

As I have said before,  what this really comes down to is individual rights.  Do you own your body or does the government?  Do you own your property or does the government?

I need you to call and email Senator Dale Schultz right now at608-266-0703Sen.Schultz@legis.wisconsin.gov.

Ask him why he is standing against the freedom of Wisconsinites.  Demand that he bring S.B. 108, the Raw Milk bill, up for a vote immediately and move it out of his committee.

If you own your body and your property, then the government has no right to tell you what you can and cannot consume.  If you own your property then the government has no right to tell you what you can or cannot sell on your own property to willing consumers.

If they can stop you from drinking and selling raw milk then how long will it be before they come after your local farmers market?

Call and email Senator Dale Schultz right away at 608-266-0703,Sen.Schultz@legis.wisconsin.gov.

Tell him to stop standing against your freedom and bring Senate Bill 108 up for a vote right now!
